GENERAL RULES
- The competition is organized and conducted by the organizing committee.
- The organizing committee approves the jury composition.
- The organizing committee is not responsible for the jury’s decisions and awarding places to participants.
- The organizing committee has the right to use and distribute (without paying fees to participants) video recordings, print, and other products produced during the competition and its outcomes.
JURY
- The jury consists of renowned international figures in culture and the arts.
- Scores are given on a 25-point scale.
- The jury has the right to divide the title of Laureate among several participants.
- The jury’s decision is finalized, documented in a protocol, and is not subject to appeal.

Age Groups
- Junior group - average ensemble age up to 18 years on 01.02.2024
- Senior group - average ensemble age from 18 to 26 years on 01.02.2024
The group’s age is determined by the average age of the ensemble
(sum the age of each participant and divide by the number of ensemble members).
Example: 1 participant - 17 years old, 2 participants - 16 years old, 3 participants - 20 years old, 4 participants - 18 years old.
17+16+20+18=71, 71:4=17.75 average ensemble age, corresponds to the junior age group
Program
- Junior Group 1. One or several compositions or their part(s) up to 20 minutes
- Senior Group 1. Two stylistically diverse (belonging to different eras) compositions or their parts up to 30 minutes (one of which must belong to the Classical era)

The jury determines the winners and awards the following prizes:

Azamat
Imandayev
Azamat Imanbayev is a saxophonist, teacher, head of the Department of Wind and Percussion Instruments at the Kurmangazy Kazakh National Conservatory (Almaty, Kazakhstan), winner of national and international competitions, author of a number of scientific and research papers on saxophone performance.
Azamat Imanbayev graduated from Kurmangazy Kazakh National Conservatory (bachelor's, master's, doctoral studies), completed a number of performing and research internships at the Higher Conservatory of Music (Spain), Seoul National University (South Korea), Novosibirsk State Conservatory (Russian Federation), U. Hajibeyli Academy of Music (Azerbaijan).
He participated in various festivals, competitions and concerts in Almaty, Astana, Tashkent, Bishkek, Novosibirsk, Baku, Vigo, Istanbul, etc.

Kuljanova
1983 Graduated from the Kazakh National Conservatory. Kurmangazy. From 1983 to 2008, she began her teaching career at the Kazakh specialized music boarding school for gifted children. A. Zhubanova.
Having worked for 26 years at the school for gifted children. A. Zhubanova, Kuldzhanova A.E., trained professional, talented, sought-after musicians. Among them: Narbekov Murat - State trio of the Republic of Kazakhstan “FORTE-TRIO”;
Yesirkep Baghzhan is active in concert activities in Kazakhstan and abroad;
Nabiev Ruslan - Academic Symphony Orchestra of the St. Petersburg Philharmonic Society Yu.Kh Temirkanov;
Karimova Sh. - concertmaster of the cello group of the Astana Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra;
Dzhumatov N. accompanist of the cello group Astana Ballet;
Beknazarov N. Head of the AVAC department at the school for gifted children named after. A. Zhubanova;
Zhanturganov B. conducts teaching activities at the school for gifted children named after. K. Baiseitova;
Kudiyarova B., Utkelbaeva L., Sagadi M. currently work at Astana Opera;
Dutbaev A. works at the State Chamber orchestra "Academy of Soloists" in Astana. In 2005 she was invited to head the string department instruments, Professor Kozhamkulova B.S. to the Kazakh National Conservatory named after. Kurmangazy.
In 2008, she was invited by the rector, Aiman Musakhodzhaeva Kozhabekovna, to the Kazakh National Academy of Music, where she is currently fruitfully working at the department of string instruments. In 2008, Kuldzhanova A.E. founded the cellist ensemble “Bolashak”, which is still active in concert activities.
Pupils of A.E. Kuldzhanova vividly represented the cello school of Kazakhstan at international and republican competitions and became laureates and diploma winners in more than 482 republican and international competitions in Italy, Switzerland, Russia, Ukraine, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Turkey, UAE, Georgia, etc.
At the X International Youth Competition named after. Tchaikovsky for training school and college students A.E. Kuldzhanov was noted by the jury members and awarded a special diploma “The Best Teacher”. (2017)
Saniya
Ospankulova
Ospankulova Sania Akylbekona graduated from the Kazakh National Conservatory. Kurmangazy in 2006. Laureate of republican and international competitions.
Since 2009, he has been working as a teacher at the Republican Kazakh Specialized Music Boarding School for Gifted Children named after. A. Zhubanova. From 2017 to 2019 she worked as a head of the string instruments department. From 2019 to 2023 worked as a deputy director for music work at the school for gifted children named after A. Zhubanova.
Now she continues to work as a teacher of the violin and viola departments.
