Michael Schepp Germany
Born in Alsfeld\Hessen, Michael Schepp received his first violin lessons at the age of 11. He studied with Tibor Varga, Detmold and Petru Munteanu, Hamburg. After a few years in a North German orchestra, he began intensive private studies with the Czech violinist Marta Libalova, lecturer at the Royal Conservatory of Aarhus in Denmark. He owes her decisive violin and artistic impulses. As a chamber musician and in various orchestras, he has performed in Germany, Hungary, France, Holland, Denmark, Korea, Japan and China. In 2005 he became a member of the teaching staff at the Paul Hindemith Music School. He has played regularly with the Berliner Symphoniker since 2003 and has been a member of the regular line-up of the Berliner Symphoniker since 2019. In 2012 he had great success performing Beethoven's Triple Concerto as a soloist with the Schloß Britz Chamber Orchestra.
Further temporary work at the North German Philharmonic Rostock, the Anhaltinische Philharmonie Dessau and the Konzerthausorchester Berlin.
