International Youth Violin Competition in Dubai in the framework of MECMA” February 01, 2024 – February 16, 2024
Competition Goals:
- Masterclasses by leading professors.
- Unique international networking and cultural exchange.
- Participation in competitions with distinguished jury members.
- Exclusive access to the InClassica 2024 International Music Festival.
General Regulations:
- The competition’s preparation and execution are handled by the organizing committee.
- The committee approves the jury composition.
- The organizing committee is not responsible for the jury’s decisions and the allocation of places to participants.
- The committee reserves the right to use and distribute (without paying fees to participants) video recordings, printed, and other materials produced during the competition and its events.
Jury
- The jury consists of internationally renowned figures in culture and the arts.
- Scores are assigned based on a 25-point system.
- The jury has the authority to share the title of Laureate among multiple participants.
- The jury’s decision is approved, documented, final, and not subject to appeal.

Akhmetova
Kuralai Akhmetova (Kazakhstan) is a graduate of the Republican Secondary Specialized Music Boarding School for Gifted Children named after Kulyash Baiseitova. She graduated from the Kazakh State Conservatory named after Kurmangazy, violin class.
She studied in graduate school, in the class of an outstanding teacher, Honored Teacher of the Republic of Kazakhstan Patrusheva N.M.
She graduated with honors from the Master's program at the Kazakh National Conservatory named after Kurmangazy.
Trained in Switzerland at the International Academy of Music in Flayn, in France at the Slavic Conservatory in Paris. Laureate and Diploma-recipient of international competitions in Kazakhstan, Lithuania, France, Switzerland.
Honorary member of the jury of the International Competitions named after. Glazunov, Paris (France), named after L. Auer, St. Petersburg (Russia), named after J. Hassid, Tallinn (Estonia) and various competitions in Kazakhstan.
A bright concert teacher who has trained a lot of young laureates and diploma recipients of Republican and International competitions, such as the international competition of young performers named after Tchaikovsky, named after Yankelevich, named after Auer, named after Kramarov, the television competition “The Nutcracker” named after Glazunov, Astana-Merey, Astana -violin, etc.

Honored Worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Honored Worker of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Professor at Kazakh National University of Arts. She graduated with honors from the Republican Special Music School named after Kulyash Baiseitova in the class of Professor N. M. Patrusheva and the Saint-Petersburg’s Postgraduate School (Leningrad) State Conservatory in the class of M. Weiman and M.Belyakov professors.
Over the years, she worked as an artist of the State Symphony Orchestra of the Republic of Kazakhstan, deputy director of the Republican Music School named after K. Baiseitova.
Since 1998, in the position of Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, she has been actively involved in creating Kazakh National Academy of Music in Astana. Then she was the pro-rector for the concert work and international relations. Students of Professor R.K. Mussakhajayeva are laureates of prestigious international contests: Youth Competition named after P. Tchaikovsky, competition named after A. Yampolsky, named after L. Beethoven in Vienna, named after Michelangelo Abbado in Milan, "Rovere dOro" in Italy, competition of Zakhar Bron in Novosibirsk, “Astana violin”, “Shabyt” and others. Zhanbyrbayeva
Anar Asanovna Zhanbyrbayeva was born on December 24, 1969, in the Almaty region. From 1977 to 1988, she attended the Republican Specialized Music School for Gifted Children named after K. Baisetova. Between 1988 and 1993, she studied at the Kurmangazy Almaty State Conservatory, earning a degree as a teacher, chamber ensemble soloist, and symphony orchestra artist upon completion. In 1993, Anar joined the orchestra of Gosteleradio Kazakhstan under the direction of M. Serkebayev in Almaty. Since 2000, she has been a teacher at the Republican Kazakh Specialized Music School for Gifted Children named after A. Zhubanov, teaching the violin. In 2011, she received a diploma from the Ministry of Education and Science of Kazakhstan for preparing two laureates who secured the second and third places in the 45th Republican Festival-Competition “Young Musician” in Almaty. Throughout the years, Anar has received numerous awards and accolades, including a certificate as an assistant at an international master class in Italy in 2014 and the title “Person of the Year - 2014” in the field of culture and art. She has also been recognized for her contribution to education and culture, receiving medals in honor of Kazakhstan’s Independence and Kyzylorda’s 200th anniversary. Anar continues to demonstrate excellence, earning awards in various competitions and contributing significantly to the musical education landscape in Kazakhstan, as evident in her recent recognitions in 2023.
